A photo is usually the fastest way to a quote

Snap a picture of the stump from a couple of angles, including something for scale like a shovel or a shoe next to it, and text it over. That's usually enough for us to give you a firm price without a site visit, especially for a single stump in an open yard. For old hardwoods with roots we can't fully see, or a job with several stumps, we may still ask to come look before locking in a final number.
